Any ideas for creating this kind of autograph book?

I'd like to create an autograph book where I can put the signed card on one side and a picture of my kids with that character on the opposite page (or even same page depending on size of book). Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks in advance for your creativity!!

They have those small photo albums at Walmart or most Dollar Stores...is that what you mean? Have the characters sign index cards and place the autographed card on one side and the photo on the other.

Another option is getting or making a regular old blank autograph book and just having the characters sign every other page...later you can go to Walmart or a craft store where they have those photo corners (like what they used to use for old fashioned photo albums) with adhesive on the back and you could insert the photo's after your trip.

On our last trip we did this. We got Disney 5x7 photo albums at Big Lots for $3 each. I got 4x6 scrapbook paper in different designs and cut it to fit (just trimmed a little). We pulled out a page for the characters to sign and when we got home, my DH put pitures of the kids with that character on the opposite page. They turned out nicely.

The photo album idea works very well. If you want to use 4x6 autographs cards that are personalized for each character rather than blank, come browse throught the designs on the Autograph Book Thread (link in my signature). :goodvibes

We used the Disney photo albums from Big Lots for the last several trips as well. I printed off some of the 4x6 DISigns from Donatalie and other DISigners as the autograph pages and filled the album up. When we got home we took out all the blank pages we didn't get autographed and put the autographs and photos together. Turned out great!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I knew I'd get good ideas from here!

this costs a bit more, but I use the smaller album from Creative Memories-- I think it's a 7x7 :)
