I was just wondering if any of you out there could offer any advice on how to see DL/DCA, Knotts & San Deigo Zoo.

We are coming over in Sept & have 7 nights accomodation in Anaheim & have a 4 day Disney Hopper pass & are also doing Knotts & San Deigo Zoo.

What I would really like to know is, does anyone have any suggestions on which is the best way to do all these.........like for example.......do we do DL first for 2 days & then DCA for the next 2 or should we mix & match & then there is Knotts & the Zoo as well. All is walking all day, but was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to go about this the best way.

I think you'll definitely want to mix up DL and DCA. They're right next to each other, so it only takes a couple of minutes to walk between each one.

Have you considered staying a night or two in San Diego instead of staying all 7 nights in Anaheim? Last year we flew into LA, drove down to San Diego (about 2 hours away) and stayed there the first two nights before returning to Anaheim for the rest of our stay. That worked out really well, and we had plenty of time in both cities.

I would do Knotts first, it might just be me but after getting totally into the Disney feeling going to Knotts seems to be a bit of a let down. Then I'd hit Disney for a couple days, then to the zoo then wrap up at Disney again.

Steve,
Thanks for your advice..... I can see your point in the Disney & Kotts too...........hadn't thought of it that way........

This will be our first & only time we visit so we really want to do it the best way we can & doing Knotts first sounds good to me & makes sense too.

Tiggeroo,

Thanks to you too. San Deigo however is out as far as accomodation is concerned. We have our holiday booked & paid for as it is a package it was a limited time only thing & since we have paid & finalised it all I have discovered that there are places down in San Deigo that would be worth seeing. I do see your point tho & I appreciate you taking the time to pass on your ideas.

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=navy>If you're going to be staying in Anaheim the whole time, then I recommend going to Knotts first so you can basically rest up. Then do San Diego next. The drive to San Diego is really nice (is the transportation down part of the package, too?). It'll take about an hour & half to two hours, depending on traffic to get down to San Diego. You can finish up your vacation playing at the Disneyland Resort, going back & forth between DCA & Disneyland, and also visiting Downtown Disney.

Orrrr, you can do Knotts, then do Disneyland/DCA for a couple of days, then go down to San Diego for something different, and finish up your days at the DL Resort.

Whatever you decide to do, you're going to have a great time. :)
