Any idea when we can buy WDW annual passes?

I spoke to a Disney phone CM yesterday who told me that APs should be available again "soon." I understand that this is utterly meaningless, but I couldn't help but feel hopeful.
The pessimist in me is thinking "soon" means about the time summer blackouts start for the lower tiers of FL resident passes, with Disney hoping people will upgrade rather than wait a little longer.

Ugh. You might be right. And the sad thing is I might actually do just that.

My wife called yesterday. On hold for about 30 minutes. All they wanted to ensure is that her pass expired after March 16. She took the refund last year.
The wait time is now 30 days for a return call with a decision. I have no idea what the decision is based on, other than verifying that the dates are correct.
The 30-day wait was actually only 8 as we got a call back and the new AP vouchers are in our accounts.

They will not be back capacity is increased

I saw Kenny the pirate post today that new APs are being sold to UK residents now, which makes exactly zero sense to me but alas.

Did they have to give the passes back?

They weren’t actually allowed to check out. People could add them to their carts, but then got the screen of death when trying to complete the purchase. The same thing has happened a couple of times on the U.S. site as well. Hopefully they’ll come back sooner rather than later though!

Maybe it's a sign that they are getting ready to go live, soon? I can always hope...

Not totally related, but speculation is WWE is pushing for 100% capacity for Wrestlemania in Tampa in a few weeks (75,000 per night).

With such late notice at this point (tix not even on sale yet), international travel restrictions, and a lot of folks just not comfortable yet, I don’t see them getting 75k there. I could see 30-40k but we’ll see.

Not sure that means much. Vince McMahan has never been one to really care about health, safety and stuff like that. Any restrictions he ever did was because he was forced to and not to do the right thing. He's about maximum profit.. period. and it's worked for him but him deciding to go 100% only means that Tampa has said he could not that it is a good idea.

I heard on a podcast that they called in and were able to complete the purchase over the phone

Anyone have a guess as to what the new pricing will be once APs go on sale again? I know it's all conjecture at this point, just wondering what you think Disney will do regarding raising prices.
