Any idea what will be happening the week before Christmas

My family of 4 has just planned a quick trip to DL(dec 16&17). Dh is a big nightmare before Xmas fan and can't wait to see the mansion. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what the park hours and parade/firework schedule would be. We will be there Sun Dec. 16&17. We were just a WDW is September and haven't been to DL in 10 years so we are really looking forward to visiting this park and seeing the new DCA. Can anyone suggest a good guide book? Any other hints or suggestions. We will be staying at the Paradise Pier hotel. We got the one night 2 tickets deal off Mousesavers.

you are going early enough that I think crowds should still be pretty light. It gets super crowded the week of christmas through the end of the year. They even had to close the gates because of all the people in the park last year. Anyway here is a link to the "offical" schedule for the days you are going to be there.

I recommend getting the offical guide by Birnbaum.
