any idea how to break out separate MDE users into their own accounts?

Since MDE started what...8 years ago....we have had 1 account. My credentials, that I log into. I have my wife (ageless), daughter 1 (20), and daughter 2 (14) all under my account.

Daughter 1 is going to WDW with some friends, and daughter 2 will next year. I thought I would get them their own accounts. Wife as well.

Not sure what process to follow that would allow 8 years worth of history and magic bands to follow them to their own account. Has anyone tried this and do you have any pointers.

I am skeptical because what we have now just works. FP+, Dinning, Rise passes....we never have any MDE snafus, and I am worried I may throw a wrench into that good fortune.

Have your daughters and wife set up their own MDE accounts. Then send them an invitation via your MDE to share info.

When they accept, their MBs, tickets, etc that are under your control currently will be moved to their control within their own individual accounts.

This is what I did and it was surprisingly easy. It imported all the bands and passes "managed by me" to their account. No we have 4 separate accounts, but all plans are shared, we lost nothing. And now my wife band should light up purple when she enters the pars as I have her DVC id added as an affiliation for her.

I did this for my wife for our recent trip and didn't tell her she would get the purple ring. It was like I added an extra carat to her ring when she scanned into the park for the first time with her own account and it went purple!!

I'd like to remove people compltely but it ALWAYS says they have plabs and cannot be removed. I know this isn't true so I am stuck with the huge list of people.

A linked MagicBand or RFID Card is enough to prevent you from removing a profile that you manage. Disney can remove them if you call.
