Any hotels after Valdosta to disney

Any hotels that are nice, clean, maybe new that is close to Disney. We are not checking in until a Sunday, but will be close to Disney. Last year we had luck at Valdosta area, but i want to get closer. Any ideas??

About an hour south of Valdosta is Gainesville, home to the University of Florida. From there it's just 90-minutes to WDW. In Gainesville, there are numerous hotels along I-75. There is a Holiday Inn Express & Hampton Inn at the Archer Road (SR 121) exit. If you want "budget", there is also a Motel 6 & Super 8 at that exit.

I agree about staying in Gainesville and I would highly recommend any Hampton Inn location because everyone I have stayed at has always been very clean, plus they offer a hot and cold items on their continental breakfast.

Thank You, I wasnt sure how far gainsville was to Disney, that is perfect 1.5 hrs. I imagine it may be alittle cheaper here too at the Holiday Inn EXP or Comfort Inn, than Orlando area.

We have stayed at the Fairfield and Country Inn and Suites at the Lake City exit, both looked newer and around the $90 area..

Another option closer to WDW than Gainesville is Ocala. There are several different chain hotels and you're an hour or less from WDW
