Any hope for the return of the Adventurer's Club?

Just wondering if any rumors have been floating around about this? Maybe not in the location where it once was, but anywhere?

Would love to see this return to either Disney Springs, AKL, Adventureland,....anywhere!

No. They do a few special things at various places like the kungalush at Tiffins and a few artifacts from the place in various places around WDW.

Nope...the adventures club would be a reminder of a type of venue that Disney no longer wants to be associated with.

Trader Sam's is the closest thing you'll see

Nope! Too many people sitting around drinking water waiting for the free show. It didn't generate enough revenue.....

It always blew me away they did not have a dedicated gift shop, or at least merchandise in WOD. I would have bought a ton of AC merchandise. I still have my monkey's head though.

I was never able to go, but if that was really the case, why didn't they implement a 2 drink minimum like comedy clubs do? Better yet, it should have been a 2 ITEM minimum. Most people will probably get 1 drink and 1 plate...then they get thirsty from their plate and get a second drink.

Doesn't even have to be alcohol either, just 2 drinks.

Yup, I agree. I would have been fine with a cover charge as well.

It's been quite a while but I believe the comedy club at DTD had a 2 drink minimum. Something like that or even a cover charge wouldn't have deterred people from coming to the adventurers club!

Nope. DH & I went to Comedy Warehouse many times. No cover charge, no drink requirement at all. You lined up & were ushered in all together. Wait staff would make rounds, but you were not pressured to order anything. We don't drink & would only rarely order a soda. After the show, everyone had to leave to make room for next show's audience. They couldn't require a drink or food minimum without letting you stay after the show. What if you couldn't finish your refreshments before the show ended??

However, they did originally charge you to enter Pleasure Island. You could get in free during the day to shop. But you had to have paid to enter the clubs in the evening. So requiring a minimum drink/ food amount would have been charging you twice.

The clothing store next to the AC used to sell merchandise at times. I still have 2 of their t-shirts.
