Any Guesses on How FP+ Might Affect Me?

So I'm wondering what the experts think about my situation.
I'll be going Late April, Early May so I would guess that's a moderately busy time of year this year? (With late Easter and Spring Breaks just ending.)

We hit rope drop and never leave more than half an hour before the parks close down.

We like to ride most everything once, but don't ride anything more then once unless we have extra time to kill when all is said and done.

The only shows and parades we'll watch will be at Animal Kingdom and we're probably skipping fireworks this year as our MK day we'll be in BOG for dinner during the fireworks. Though I do really want to do m&g with Meridia, The Frozen Folks & Tink. Maybe with New Talking Mickey, but that's not a must do.

How do those of you in the know think the new system will affect us?

Unless you are used to getting more than 3 FPs in a day, I don't think the new system will impact you much at all.

I can't for the life of me remember how many fp we've used in the past.
But in the past CMs kept pressuring us to skip the lines (my ECV) so we didn't end up using our FP if that happened (Though we did give them away) and we went in much quieter times... the first 2 weeks of December usually.

Disability access has changed. I would suggest that you check out the changes on the Disabilities Board.

Thanks for the heads up, but I'm aware of the changes.
That's one of the reasons I mentioned it above, the change will play a factor in the differences in this and our previous trips.

I should still be eligible for a DAS, as I have a medical issue that means I sometimes need to make quick exits from a line, this can happen several times a day. The ECV for my arthritis only makes it more complicated as getting out of a stand by line quickly on an ECV is a major challenge.

Rope Drop mornings shouldn't be different for you other than you won't be grabbing FPs at the machines on your way.

Use your FP+ options for the afternoon when the lines are busiest. You'll be limited to one E ticket headliner per park (assuming tiering goes into effect at AK and MK as well as EPCOT and DHS). But you can do one or more of those in the morning or at night when crowds are lowest.

You already know that you can get on many attractions without a crowd during parades and fireworks. Evening EMH will cover the rest, assuming you stay out that late.

As said they've changed the disability access so those with just mobility impairments are going through Standby queues and using FP. There's no alternate access anymore. (Too many liars cheated the system.) The new program (DAS) is limited to those who cannot wait inside a queue. Instead they are given a card with a return time so they wait elsewhere and come back later. That return time is based on whatever the Standby time is.

You won't be pressured to not use your FP. Instead you'll be pressured to have a FP.

You posted while I was writing. If you do have a DAS then it'll help you balance your FP+ times. You get a return time for one thing while going off to redeem your FP+. It was actually a very fluid experience for me when I was there for NYE (busiest days of the year). I had a good experience overall using FP+, DAS and evening EMH. I do not do Rope Drop. Too early to get my body moving.

Oh and I should have mentioned it earlier - but I wont ride Space Mountain. And we aren't going to the Studios, and even if we were I wouldn't ride TSM...
We'll want Soarin but could care less about TT.
