So I have a few dresses that I have that I bought and changed my mind about. Does anyone know of any good websites to sell dresses besides Ebay?

I don't know of any good sites other than Ebay and Craig's list. But umm... what size are you? What do you have? ;)

Thanks! I will check that website out!

This is the dress I want to sell. Its an Oleg Cassini, Size 12. I paid $1100.00. I want to get at least $600.00 for it. I believe its discontinued now. I didn't think I would be able to get anything for it if I put it on Ebay. It still has the tags on it! Poor dress.

Aw man! It a beautiful dress, but it won't fit me.:sad2: I'm sure that there are other brides out there who want it. Do you have any good consignment shops where you live. We had one when I lived in Tallahassee, and they specialized in consigning wedding dresses. They charge a commission to sell it, but I think it's worth it.

This is the one and only time in my life I'm going to say this: Thank GOD I'm not a size 12, or I would be the proud owner of 3 dresses LOL! :lmao: That is a beautiful dress Toni!

I'm going to be putting up the first dress I bought on Ebay this weekend. I'll report how that goes. It's a good time to be selling a gown right now 1. The economy - I've heard on Ebay that bridal dress sales are up because of it. and 2. 4 months out from peak wedding season! Enough time to buy the dress and get it altered!

I have been trying for a while now to sell mine. Thanks for asking about these sites. I have tried ebay and craigslist. All I get from craigslist is MEN who want to know if I will take a cashiers check :lmao:

Hey ladies--I'm not a former DISbride, but was a bride to be at one point (long story, it didn't work--but ended up working out for the better)...anyhow--I just wanted to let you know, that I did sell my dress on E-bay, and you'd be quite surprised what you can get for it. Mine was already altered and everything (wedding was canceled 30 days before the ceremony), and I got almost what I paid for the dress, minus the cost of the alterations, this was all before the stock market took a plunge! So, just put really good pictures up there, and post away--you'd be surprised.

I am hoping I can get a little something back for these stupid dresses. Maybe I shouldn't have rushed shopping or I should have stopped looking at dresses after I got one. Oh well. :headache:
