Any good websites to get good discounts on digital cameras??

Hello,
Just wondering about some websites that are pretty good to buy digital cameras off of??? I know there are some that sell cameras with pretty good discounts, just wondering which ones are good out there....thanks guys.....went shopping tonight and I have fallen in love with the Kodak Easyshare DX6490 digital camera....and I am just looking into getting a better price than the store has...thanks again.

I've always taken a liking to the Hot Deals discussion forum on FatWallet. Do a search for the brand you're looking for and there should be something that comes up. If you like Target stores, do a search for Target Clearance and one of the members there started a self-updating threads of all of the deals to be had. Good luck to you. BTW, is there a particular brand or model you're looking for?

Do you have Consumer Reports?

If so, by each camera there is a little icon where you click & it shows places to buy the camera. Some places are really cheap compaired to the retail price but I haven't looked into the shipping yet.

Why not look at the DX7590 an updated version of the same camera, for nearly the same price? www.microcenter.com has it for $359.99 after 20% discount, less the $50 rebate on the DX7590 from Kodak gets you down to just over $300 for a newer camera. BTW the Dx6490 is a great camera, I bought it for my DW last year for Xmas. She loves it. The DX7590 is the same just better. Shipping is $5.99 grnd /$8.99 2 day/ $11.99 next day, tax is charged if they have a location in your state. I bought my camera from them on this deal last year.

You can also go to Cnet.com which reviews millions of cameras and gives you lists of stores you can buy them at and the prices. It's amazing the difference in prices for the same thing!

We are new at researching digital cameras but I have used epinions for other products and found the best prices. Overstock.com has the more expensive model for $299.99 but it is listed as high sell out risk.
