Any good vacation home rentals or hotel rooms with kitchens?

We are considering a trip to LA in the summer, but I really want a vacation home with a pool or a hotel suite with a kitchen.

Does anyone know of any?

I just booked at the Staybridge Suites in Anaheim. Their pictures look nice and each room has their own kitchen with stove and fridge. It does say it has free breakfast and an afternoon drinks and snacks get together.

If you're looking for a hotel in the DLR area, the Residence Inn Maingate is great. Reasonably priced, with separate bedrooms and kitchens. Plus free breakfast and if you leave a shopping list at the front desk they'll pick up your groceries and leave them in your room for you. The pool is small but nice enough.

If you're after a vacation home, we've had good experiences with VRBO.com - vacation rentals by owner. You can search for listings in the area you're after, there's usually quite a bit of choice.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Garden Grove and it was great. Had a 2bd 2ba suite. They have a free full breakfast that is fantastic as well. We would stuff ourselves and then wouldn't be hungry again until mid-afternoon. We took ART to the park most of the time, and it stopped right outside the hotel. We would stay there again, it was fantastic.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Maingate this past summer for 2 weeks and it was great. We only had a 1 bedroom suit since there was only 4 of us. But the nice thing about there is the breakfast it is wonderful (hot buffet style)....sure it has it's busy morning but then you have the option to eat in your room if you want. We found the staff friendly there. You are with in walking distance to the park or take the ART if your not a walker. The pool is small but the chairs are comfy. You have the new Garden Walk right across the street and the I5 right behind you so you have access to get to other places easily. I do have pictures if anyone wants to see them. I did forget to mention but another disser did that they do have a full kitchen plus you have acesses to bbq's of you want. The maid service will run your dishwasher for you but not unload it since it will still be running when they leave.
