I found a swelling/lump whilst washing recently, actually it was a couple of weeks back, and it hasn't gone down, so of course I'm beginning to be concerned about it now. I will make an appointment first thing on Tuesday when my doctor's surgery re-opens to get it checked out. Cross your fingers that its nothing bad. Thanks.

It's nothing. But you need to get it checked out. A little lesson in why. Thanksgiving night woke up with what I billed as extremely painful gas. I vomitted, I sat in the tub trying to make it go away, and after about two hours it did. The next week...same time, same night, same thing. Only it lasted three hours. Once it went away I had a dull throbbing that kept going. Thursday it got bad, Friday it got real bad. Not to be gross, but I hadnt gone to the bathroom regular, so I started pumping the laxatives and food that makes you go. Friday slept at work for most of the day, went out to eat, had a nice night with the girlfriend and my kids, went to sleep around 11:30 woke up an hour later with amazing pain. Something I never felt before. Now it was in my side, my back and most importantly my chest....screaming. I had enough and got the gf to take me to the ER. They informed me that my Gall Bladder was ready for a divorce, and my appendix found out my Gall bladder was involved with me and decided that it was ready to talk about a trial separation. Well that talk moved to a full on divorce, as I am a naughty good for nothing man and they both felt they would do better without me. Sunday morning emergency surgery to get rid of both.
Moral of the story, while it is most likely nothing....get to the doctor soon, even if you have to go to one thats not your normal. Better safe than sorry.

I had a large lump that scared the heck out of me. It turned out to be caused by caffine. I switched to half caf and the lump is gone. I hope you have the same thing as I did.
