any good prices for rpr?

has anyone gotten any good deals for rpr on w/entertainment book lately? i'm going in oct.and keep checking,the price is always 249.95.tia.

When I called last week about October entertainment book rates I was advised that there is nothing available with the entertainment rate for the entire month at any of the resorts. Apparently, October is actually one of their busiest months because of the Halloween stuff they do; can't think of the name of it. Anyway, I don't know if Universal is like Disney and this can change from day to day, but last week there was nothing (for the entertainment card)

With HHN, it is hard to get any discounts. Other than that, you should be able to get it any other month.

Are you requesting a 2 night stay? I believe the 2 night stays are not geting much discounting and that you must get a 3 night minimum to get a discount. I tried 2 night stays all month long for October and got nothing. When I tried 3 night stay, I got all kinds of discounts. Although I was finally able to get a 2 night stay, discounted room for mid Oct at RP though.

What are your dates? Some dates in Oct have the APH rate of $129/night. At that rate, it may be worth it for one member of your party to purchase an AP.

I am staying at the RPR oct 11-17 for an APH rate of 129.00

As someone posted it might be worth you to get the AP for not only the hotel discount but on food and merchandise.

Thanks to this board I was able to get an AP for two years for the price of one year

I just booked one night 10/14 at PBR for the ent rate at $186. I tried the other 2 resorts and there were no ent rates available. I was hoping to get RPR for a lower rate but I was quoted $209. I figured we might as well live it up!

Besides the AP rates, also try AAA and Fan Club. It might be worth it to join AAA. HTH!

i checked aaa rates for rpr-185.00/night and tried for ap rates-said none available.i see twoeeyy got a ap rate of 129.00 during the time i am going (10/12-14).they must have sold out of ap rates for oct.

I made my initial reservation back in March but I have had it changed two times since, whenever the prices have dropped.
I has probally been about two weeks since I got the 129.00 rate.

I only got the rate due to these WONDERFUIL boards and all the very well informed people on them .

sorry that you have not been sucessful of getting a lower rate, as many have said in various posts, just keep calling.

Hi I just checked your dates for you. If you can check in 1 day earlier on the 11th the 129.00 rate is available.

Maybe you will have to just go for an extra day
