Any good Holiday Inn motels on Rt 75 Ga./Fl.

Looking for any good (or bad ones to avoid) Holiday Inn motels on 75 in Georgia. Driving from Chicago (early) to Disney and need a place to stay for the night. Prefer south of Macon to Northern Florida area, so as to leave an easy morning drive to WDW. Any good suggestions? Have a deal with Holiday Inn, so other motels are not preferred but would not rule them out if that is all there was.

If you want close to the Northern part of Florida I would suggest these to cities. Either Valdosta, Georgia (exit 18) or Lake Park, Georgia (exit 5). I have the along Interstate 75 book by Dave Hunter & there are Holiday Inn's off those 2 exits & both are very close to the Florida border. I personally would go with Valdosta, Georgia. They have a lot more in terms of restaurants & shopping (if you are up to it). My family & I stay at the Hampton Inn there so I could not tell you anything about the Holiday Inn. If you would like to know more please pm me. Lastly if you decide to choose either of these 2 cities you will not be disappointed.

The reviews of the Holiday Inn in Valdosta on Tripadvisor don't look too great. The Holiday Inn Express in Lake Park, GA has much better reviews and includes breakfast. Rates for random dates are check were $63.50 for advance purchase.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express this past Feb in lake Park. It is a simple Holiday Inn, clean and free breakfast. Nothing special or spectacular. We only wanted a clean bed and room for the night and we really liked this place, beds are a little hard. Breakfast was typical fair, with yougart, muffins, cereal, fruit, bagels, toast, etc. We will be staying the again in Sept. for the night. I recommended it to a co-worker who went to florida this past 4th of July and she feels the same way, clean room and bed and free breakfast for a great price. I called and checked the internet and got the same price in advance. If you get them room on arrival it would have been around 10 more. I listened to a couple checking in without reservations when we arrived.

Thanks for the info. As long as it is a safe place to stay, is all that matters. Her friends dad has a coupon, discount, or some type of free stay they can use.
