Any Good Deals or Bundles for Wii U?

I am getting a headache trying to find if there are any bundles or even deals available for Wii U? I imagine the price won't budge, but I was hoping for a good bundle of something. So far every ad I have seen pretty much shows the same price. Anybody find anything different?

That is if you can find one at all. I was in line at toys r us this morning and they only had 6 available in black and 6 of the white. I wanted black and I was number 8 in line so I got white.

From what I've heard they are anticipating them to be hard to get for the next six months. I read one article that claimed Gamestop has 250,000 people on the waiting list to purchase one.

I hope you are have good luck and are able to get one. I remember it was like that when the Wii first game out. I called Best Buy everyday checking on shipments (they were super nice) until I got one.

I doubt that's true. I was in Gamestop a couple months ago, the clerk convinced me to put my name down--lo and behold, I got the call on Sat., I had 48 hours to take it or not. I think I'm going to pass--it's $400 we don't really have right now (and DS15 wants a PS3).

I found it a little unbelievable also. dd's and dh went to a Wii U Experience thing over the summer and the girls just thought the Wii U was fantastic but dh was not impressed. After much debate we did preorder one from Best Buy for Christmas but I don't know if it is really worth the money.

You won't see any deals on price. Nintendo does not allow retailers to sell the product for less money. You will sometimes see gift card offers though (Target does this, they will give you a free gift card with purchase if they aren't allowed to actually discount the price). However I would expect even those to be rare since they will have no problem selling out until well after Christmas.

As for if its worth it I got mine yesterday and played with it for a while it was fun.
I have only played NintendoLand on mine so far which although fun wouldn't be worth it alone but I have also played Zombie U at a demo for comic con and really liked that one as well. Having the game pad allows the new possibility of an adversarial game on one screen where you can't just look to see what the other person is doing at any time (In Zombie U you can play as the zombie master and control the zombies, but the survivors can't see what your doing since its on the game pad.

I was at BJs yesterday when it opened and was surprised to see a line at the door. Apparently it was for the Wii. I went directly to customer service to return something.

4 guys walked up with 6 Wii between them (had to get the actual boxes out of the locked secure cage). Then I heard the man ahead of me (already at the counter) asking to speak to a manager because he wanted a Wii and they had been scooped up by the other guys.

That occurred within 3 minutes of store opening.

That bundle isn't on any kind of sale though. Only the white model is available which is $300 normally (the black is $350 as it comes with more things) and the came is $60 normally. So its really not a deal, just makes it look like it is.

This will always happen unless stores choose to only allow 1 per customer, and even then you will still get a group of 4 guys buying 4 when they plan to sell them. You could get some pretty good money for them on ebay from people desperate to get one before Christmas. I hate the practice but have to say sometimes am tempted to join in, I could have easily gotten another one on preorder.

I love the site that shows you who has it in stock. It does show Walmart with that bundle but it just won't allow me to purchase it. I get as far as shipping method and it tells me to 'choose a shipping method' but there are no choices or buttons for me to click. Too good to be true. I will keep monitoring that website though...thanks for the suggestions and help!

Go to your local Walmart store. Ours had 3 of the 8gb yesterday. The 32gb ones are all on layaways, so they could not be put on the sales floor.
