Has anyone been there in the last while and enjoyed any of the food? I have this one booked especially for Minnie (we don't want the LTT dinner) at 5pm. Are there any positive reviews out there?

We were there in october and it was...fine. We've been there before so we knew what to expect. We enjoyed our meal and the character interaction is really what made it a great experience. Try not to have too high of expectations for the food-while we weren't disappointed in the meal, it's not anything spectacular. The desserts are mighty good though :)

I love the parmesean mashed potatoes! Yummy! The prime rib was OK and I ate a whole bunch of the chilled shrimp. We always do Chef Mickey's our first day to get us in the Disney mood.

We had dinner there in July and last Dec too. Both times it was very enjoyable.

We had dinner there in Sept.It was enjoyable, the character interaction was great(Donald and I had a little tiff ) The mashed potatoes were yummy, and there was something for all my picky eaters!Enjoy!!!

We went in August and enjoyed it.:thumbsup2
DS8 and I reviewed it in our report if you want to read it. (link below, page 3, post 38)

Chef Mickey's was one of the worst restaurants I've eaten at in Disney. I think the food quality and selection is abysmal. I'd seriously suggest going somewhere else.

We were there last October and loved Chef Mickey. Food was good !

I ate there 2 weeks ago & the food at dinner was pretty bad.
Even the kids food was gross looking.
I have been there for breakfast & I thought it was so much better than dinner!!

We have ate there a couple times and honestly the food has always been good. You just have to remember that it is a buffet and that while it may have looked fantastic at one point...it may not when you go through. The character interaction is alot of fun and why we always go back.

We liked Chef Mickey's. Especially the desserts! It wasn't anything spectacular, but I don't think any of the buffets are. We go more for the characters then the food. We'd go again. No one left hungry.

We go there every trip and the food has always been good. The character interaction is awsome. This is one of my kids favorite places to eat.
We always try to get the first dinner ressie that way we know the food is hot.

Well I can't help you there, our family was grossed out by
the food. It even smelled bad. The Parents were letting there
kids touch everything, yuck. The cost for dinner came to $114.00
for 3 of us. I was so glad we were there for FD or else I would
have had a fit.
