I love a good lunch or dinner buffet. Are there any buffets onsite? We are staying at RPR, and we won't have a car.

*We aren't big breakfast eaters, so I'm not interested in a morning buffet.

Also, if there are any good buffets, do you have any pictures?

TIA!

Less than 2 weeks to go....I can't wait!

The only buffet I know of at Universal Studios is Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville...

(That was a joke though. I don't know of any buffet style restaurants.)

The only one I know of for sure is the Character Bfst at IOA.

As an alternative you could purchase the meal pass that lets you eat all you want at a handful of places at both parks.

although you said no breakfast- the hard rock has a great buffet that runs until 11:00. We ate there twice around 1045 and called it lunch. lots of meats available as well as custom eggs and french toast. THe fresh squeezed orange juice was wonderful.

While not a buffet in the classic sense, the Trattoria restaurant at PBH has a pasta bar on certain nights - all you can eat. They have a ton of ingredients (chicken, shrimp, pepperoni, asparagus, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.), 4 or 5 different types of pasta, and several types of sauces - you get a bowl and gather all the ingredients you want to add to your pasta, hand the bowl off to the chef, give him your pasta and sauce preferences and he cooks it for you while you wait (he also asks about extra garlic, red pepper, etc. to add in as he is cooking). He can do white wine or vodka sauces, butter sauce, alfredo, marinara or any combination of those that you want. Comes with a salad that is brought to the table (and quite yummy) along with all you can eat breadsticks that are at the pasta bar. You can make as many trips and combinations as you wish - it was actually very good. My son loved it and we will make it a 'do again' next trip. :thumbsup2

All three hotels have a yummy buffet breakfast. It is as the Trattoria at PBH and at the Islands Restaurant at RPR.

The Islands Restaurant also has a kids' dinner buffet.

Seems Universal needs to get a heads up...we need a buffet!

RPR used to have a great seafood buffet on Fri and Sat at The Islands. Not just seafood,a carving station with roast beef was there also. They stopped doing it probaly 3yrs ago for some reason.:confused3

I agree Dax,they need one in CW.
