My DH and I have signed up for the 9/28/06 tour but were told that unless they have 20 or more people they cancel it. The info is in September's Vacation Magic email.

Do you have any other details, I missed this!

Off to the member site.

I thought about signing up, but when I read the details it didn't seem all that exciting. I mean you'd get to see the "largest laundry facility in the world" and 2 other things...

Oh, I also found it a little confusing because in one place it said it was $99 per person, but when I opened the website to read more and signup, it said it was $89 pp.

I'm going to check it out again, but we will likely be passing on this experience.

Here's the info from the "More Info" section:

When most people hear the name "Walt Disney," they think of Mickey Mouse, classic movies, and theme parks. what they often don't think of, or even know about, are his many innovative ideas that eventually led to the creation of the Walt Disney World Resort. From the first "talking" cartoon in 1928, to his bold vision of an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, Walt Disney always pushed the limits of technology. Innovation in Action highlights Walt's many accomplishments and takes you on an unforgettable journey where you see firsthand, how we make "magic"!

Dates: September 14, 21, 28; October 5, 12, 19, 26
Time: 3 hours, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Cost: $89 per person, including transportation
Minimum: 20 guests, Maximum: 40 guests

Meet at Epcot Guest Relations or at Disney's Boardwalk Resort Convention Center Porte Cochere.

During this 3-hour behind-the-scenes adventure, your facilitators will share stories about the early days of Walt's career and take you to a vareity of locations for an up-close look at innovation.

Nursery and Tree Farm: See how Disney horticulturists create world-famous topiaries at the Walt Disney World Nursery and Tree Farm.

Textile Services: Visit the new state-of-the-art laundry facility, one of the largest in the world.

Central Shops: Explore the world of the "can do" builders of the Disney "magic".

Journey to places most Guests never get to see for an incredible and entertaining experience you won't soon forget.

We'd love to do the tour... but we're only going to be there a week this time.. from Thursday to Thursday. And.. that means we'd have to do all the last minute stuff; check out and store the luggage before the tour...and eat breakfast... then get back in time for the Magical Express bus....
hmmm.. it's 3 hour thing? ... our flight's at 6:30.... .. hmm....
no... kinda rushing it... hmmm... but.. naa.... well....
I could call... and ask.... s'pose they bring us back to the Boardwalk, right?
:)

I would love to do it, but I think I am going to have to cut my Oct trip short due to work issues so....No go this time. I hope someone posts a report!

I was thinking about it, but can't make the 09/28 one as I'm on a plane to WDW then...
