If you are referring to the Beach Bash @ Typhoon Lagoon, you have to call MS during the booking window for the date you want to attend to get on the list.

That information will most likely be given to members when they reserve their spot. The first booking window opens on 7/8.

A couple of years ago they had a similar event at Blizzard Beach. I was lucky enough to be there during the scheduled times. They let us in at I believe 2 pm, gave us free small water wallets, and had refreshments. It was a real nice little bonus, and certainly made me feel like a "valued customer."

That was a passholder event. Free after 2pm. We were there too.

We will know more after the first party goers call this Wednesday. The invite said to have your resort confirmation ready when you call to reserve. I wondered if they would be sending us a confirmation or have tickets waiting for us at the resort. We also wondered if lockers will be available and towels. Maybe the ticket will be added to our magicband. Guess we'll know more later this week. And of course even more after the first event.

We are currently booked at Vero beach during one of the parties. There is a a bash date the night before we leave. Do you think we can use that reservation number or should I book a room at WDW? I won't be able to cancel it. I was hesitant booking a room until I knew we could get into the bash. Otherwise, we will stay at Vero.

The details page says you must be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel to be able to book it. I doubt VB would qualify, but you could verify it with MS.

Actually, you would be amazed at how many local DVC members there are in central FL. It was well known in the early days of Celebration that some of the very best prospects to buy a home there were DVC Members! I worked for the Mouse for several years before moving away, and many, many of my fellow CM's were DVC members.

The way I get free valet parking is via my Tables in Wonderland card.

I am still on the phone with them resolving another issue but just an FYI towels and lockers are available to rent. I know that was one of the questions everyone had. Also I was given a confirmation #and told to check in 15 min early. I am driving so we skipped the transportation information but it was fine we were driving in.

Maybe the party activities begin at 9:30. I'm fine with hanging at the wave pool until then. Since we can get in at 7:00 I'm sure they have a plan. I'm thinking we will have wristbands so they know who can stay and who has to leave at 8:00

I asked for a supervisor and while waiting the CM came back to say that a slot for 5 had been held and released so we were able to book, wondering if anyone else has experienced not getting the party within the first 30 minutes of the first day of booking.

wow, I'm amazed. There are going to be some unhappy folks. Im scared now since I call next week. I didn't tell my granddaughters because I'm afraid I might not get in and didn't want to disappoint them.
