Any fun places to stop on the way back up north?

We find ourself with an extra day of travel so I am looking for a place to stay about 4 hours from disney- preferably a beach area. I check out Jekyl Island but it's either very old looking place or the $400 a night place. I was orginally thinking Hilton Head but am now thinking that's too far off I95. I'm looking for one night with some fun in the AM(like the beach)

Any ideas??
