After 4-5 years of pleading the wife and I are taking our three kids( 14, 17, 20 ) to HHN that night. Should be crazy I imagine. Any other first timers out there for that night?

It's gonna be CRAZY busy! You should definitely consider purchasing Express passes but they will be expensive. If you can't get into the park before closing, make sure you are outside the main gates as close to 5pm as possible so it's not too of a wait to get into the park.

Is that when you can get in with your HHN ticket 5pm or is it like Disney's Halloween party ticket were it says one time(7 pm) but you can get in earlier(4pm)? Disney does it so everyone doesn't have to wait to get in all at once so I was wondering if Universal does this too?:confused3

The only way to get into the park prior to HHN is to have a day ticket. It doesn't work the same way Disney does because the MK does not close prior to MNSSHP and the Studios closes to the general public and then reopens for HHN.
