Any Fairy Godmothers out there available to help me with check in questions?

Hello Disney Friends,

We have 10 day park tickets for August. Yay! However, school is going to start a week earlier than I had planned, so we are going to have to leave earlier in the day on our last day. I don't want to add nights to the beginning of our stay because the price changes due to season. We had planned to arrive on a Sunday night (that is our resort check in time). I think we will just adjust our travel time so we arrive in the morning and use the first day of the tickets before we check into the resort.

What kinds of problems might this cause????????

Will we be able to use the shuttle to the MK? (most likely not)
If we drive to the MK instead of taking the bus, can we park for free? Will there be space to park if we arrive after noon?

Will we be able to use our dining plan? (probably not)

If check in is at 4:00 PM, is it likely we can check in around 12:00? If our room isn't ready, can we go ahead and check in to get our room keys so we can get started?

I will appreciate any help you can give me on this! Thanks!

If I remember correctly, you can check in as soon as you get there but your room probably won't be ready. Guest services will keep your belonging, give you your passes and you'll be good to go. You'll be able to access disney transportation and if you have a car you can get a slip which will let you park for free. Even ddp should work. I would double check with either Disney or your travel agent to see if this is still true.
