We are going to book a disney cruise and we have found the best prices are on expedia. Just wanting to hear from past experience, good or bad, booking cruises this way before we book with them.

;)

Are you SURE Expedia has the best prices? Better than All Season's Travel? Better than Dreams Unlimited? Typically, these companies (that specialize in Disney travel) can do better - PLUS - you end up with a real, live person to e-mail and talk to.

yes, there prices started w/ inside cabins for $299, oceanview starting at $409 on certain dates. I have checked with Small World travel (saw it on Mousesavers), with a local travel agency & with Disney travel agency. Beat all of them by at least $100. I have not checked with Dreams Unlimited but I will inquire to them today. I just don't know who to trust since I am new to it all. We want to get the best price we can but have good service as well.

We booked our 11-29-03 cruise thru expedia. We had no trouble what so ever and when the price went down (just before the trip) I called expedia and they made the calls to get me a price adjustment. Is there a specific concern you have about booking this way?

I booked this first ever cruise thru expedia.com. I also found them to have the lowest prices. However, at that time, I wasn't aware of this board, or DU so I can't compare to them. So far, there have not been any problems. But, as we get close to sailing day, still have no documents! Others have been getting theirs by UPS from DCL or their own TA's. Finally got an email from them today saying they are sending ours by regular mail and should have them no later than one week prior to sailing. Would much prefer having them early to have plenty of time to complete any necessary paperwork.

Good sailing! :boat:

We booked our first DCL cruise w/ Expedia. Absolutely no problem.

We've used them for flights/hotels/cars and never a problem.

If they're the best price, go for it.

Its 10 days before my departure and they not only did NOT send out the docs they have had for a month, they CANNOT FIND THEM!

THey gave me the same song and dance about them being here 2 weeks prior to the cruise, then it was "we are behind". then the truth of the matter... they CANNOT FIND THEM!

Never use Expedia for a cruise!
