Any experience with Allegiant? Tempted by cheap fares from Bangor.

I completely forgot about Allegiant, but just found a $79 from BGR to Orlando (actually i think it's Sanford rather than MCO). The limited feedback I can find isn't great. But I can't find anything below about $100 pp from more distant airports--PWM and MHT. Bangor would save us 6-8 hrs driving round-trip.

I looked into using them but with no magic express and the extra cost of ether renting a car or taking a taxi to get to and from WDW made them more expensive

There's that...I think we'll be renting, don't know how easy that would be from Sanford. But yeah, the bag fees are killing me too.

We fly Allegiant to Sanford alot now. It's maybe an extra 30 - 45 minutes max. We are super cheap, we take a cab to the Budget rental a few minutes from the airport, saves us about 40% from airport car rental fees. Then we return the car to the airport location, there's no charge to return it to a differnent location. It's just the I-4 all the way same as from MCO. The difference in airfares is drastic here, so Allegiant it is.
