Any existing members get the 500 Bonus Reward $ for an add-on?

Just wondering if any one got the bonus $ for adding on?

When we added on in Jan., Visa offered 0% on down payments, but somehow the DVC accounting managed to get us 0% on the whole add-on.

I was wondering if anything like that might be happening with this promo. Our add-on is so small it doesn't qualify for any of the usual DVC incentives, but if I could get 500 reward $ I'd add-on now rather than next year.

According to dvcnews.com, it is good for add ons of 100 points or more, but not smaller ones.

And, if you take that incentive, it appears that you lose the additional dollars off, which at 100 points, is $6.00 extra dollars--so, it doesn't seem why that would make any sense.

I was interested in this deal for an add-on too, until I read the details. I agree that I don't know why I would want to give up dollars off incentives in exchange for essentially a Disney gift card. If I could keep the incentives AND get the bonus I might take advantage.

According to our guide, we got the reduced rate for VGC w/ referral and the 500 bonus rewards on our visa. I know we got the better rate since we have already done our paperwork. I can't confirm the 500 yet: said it would take about 2 weeks post closing... papers were signed on the 10th. I'll let you know when I see them if we got both.

Just curious. Is there anything in your paperwork that lists that incentive? Or, do your contracts only discuss the price per point discount?
