Any Escape Brides pick their own 1st dance song?

Did Disney give you a hard time if you didn't use one of their designated songs? What did you have to do for it, did you have to provide the sheet music? How far in advance should you let your planner know?

I didn't have an escape but I did have a song I wanted played that was not Disney music or on the list. All I did was email my planner the sheet music (DH scanned it and made it into a PDF) and on the day of the wedding it was played wonderfully! I would just ask your planner how far in advance they want the sheet music as the musician will need to learn it. I would also ask because they might already have it for that song if many other brides have used it.

Our first dance song is going to be "So Close" from "Enchanted". It is not on the list in the Escape planning guide but our planner said no problem.
