Any early December people able to use new code?

I noticed here on the boards that most of the people here that booked with the new buy 4 get 7 or buy 5 get 7 deals are going from February onward.

I know when I called this morning about applying the code to my existing reservation I was told there was nothing at all except the Yacht Club.

Any of you early ( 1st 2 weeks) December Dis'ers get lucky? If so what time did you call in and where did you book?

No luck for me for those dates either. I had a great CM who put me on hold for about 10 minutes and he told me the exact same thing. They told me the only availabilty under that package was the Yacht and Beach Club. I guess I will keep my free dining at the AKL. I'm not really sure which one is better for us anyway.

Yeah the Yacht Club was all I was offered and it was a significant amount more.

They also told me the Wl was sold out the first week of December . I am not sure about AK. I hope it doesnt amount to busy parks....

This morning I was able to change my existing rack rate reservation at the WL from January to December 13-20 and apply the 4/3 code. I had to give up my standard view and move to a courtyard room. I'll like it, but would rather have the cheaper room.

WL is very popular during December. May not be a reflection on occupancy at other resorts.

I changed from all star music to coronado springs Dec 17-25th. I actually misheard the quote and thought she said something $100 less so I switched because the price difference between the two wasnt as big as it was before. Now I feel kind bad because it's a $400 difference not a $300 difference. I kinda doubt they will let me change my ressies back since the free dining deal is over.

Oh well I hope the price difference will be worth it.

I have 6 nights booked at CBR. I was told by DU that free dining was cheaper for me by $120. I checked into changing to a deluxe but it would be at least $1000 more. So I will stick to what I have.

I kept my FD offer at the POP.
With the 5/2 at POP, it wasn't worth it to switch.
460 for FD or 200.00 on the room...
I went with the food.

I couldn't switch my 40% at BCV from Dec 12-18 to the 4/3 at the BCV, or the VWL or BLT.The only thing was AKLv and BWV neither of which I liked enough to switch and it is only the matter of saving an additional $250 .DH told me for $250 just keep what we have, but it irks me

I booked a really good AP rate at BC for 12/2-11, and the 4/3 doesn't come close. So I didn't change.

My TA phoned me Monday afternoon. She is trying to convert our BWI ressie to the 4/3 deal (we are going Dec 1 - 8) but so far she has not been able to. We do not have free dining because we had a good room rate for 5 of our 7 nights. But the 4/3 deal would be better if we can get it. I'm still waiting for a little magic.

I am going 11/30-12/7 and tried to get the 4/3 deal at WL and was told the only availability was Animal Kingdom (??).. I didn't really want to switch resorts so I stuck with the free dining..

I was booked at POR for 11/28 - 12/5 - first they offered me AKL for $380.00 more than my package. I am taking two friends with me this year that are currently college students and I could not ask them to cough up more money; I have already paid for the entire room, so I wasn't going to pay it. That was Monday night.

I called again Tuesday am and was told that CBR was available for that week, but even with the huge savings (which I would have kept for myself since I paid for the entire room) I just couldn't bear to part with POR. I just love it too much.

She put me on hold and five minutes later came back with a deal, that was $200.00 less for a studio at SSR. I took it and passed the savings onto my friends (if they treat me to dinner one night on our OOP evening). So we get all the stuff that I love so much about POR, plus a whole lot more!

I'm going 11/30 - 12/7 and couldn't get the 4/3 at the Contemporary. They didn't even offer me an alternative - just said it's not available there for my dates. Oh well, at least I got the free dining.

It was available at Pop our dates Dec 23-29, it was only going to save us $30 so i just stayed with our rack rates.
