Any Earl of Sandwich fans?

We are huge Earl fans! While staying in San Antonio in June we drove 25 minutes each day just have Earl for lunch.

WHAT?! Earl in San Antonio? Why wasn't I told about this sooner? We actually love their sandwiches so much that we plan our DTD excursions around it. Now that I know there is one an hour away, I HAVE to plan tomorrow around it!!!!! Wait 'til I tell DD#2. She'll be in the car pronto.:rotfl2:

We love it!

It's easy, great location, not pricey and yummy!

We tell everyone to eat there. Lots of families like the Rainforest Cafe and TRex - not a fan. We had a Rainforest Cafe and now have a TRex in our city and the food is below average. When we go to DTD, we have so many other things to do than wait for okay food. We would rather eat a sandwich at Sandwich of Earl and go play.

Last time, we also tried Wolfgang Express but didn't want to chance it when we knew Sandwich of Earl was going to be great.

HOLIDAY SANDWICH
turkey, cranberries, stuffing and gravy oh my!!!

I'm drooling..:rotfl:

E of S seems to be really big on the DIS. I know lots of DISers really like it. We tried it on a recent visit, and we thought it was just okay. The bread was kind of big and heavy. The sandwiches all seemd to have somethign I don't like. DH got a salad and ended up not eating most of it because it was loaded with WAY too much dressing.

I'm more partial to the Wolfgang Puck QS place. The TS place was not at all to our liking, but the QS place is good.

Everytime my family and I are in WDW we always eat at Earl of Sandwich at least 2 - 3 times. I always order The All American without the Cranberries and on the side I get their Tomato Soup.

I'm counting down the days until Earl of Sandwich time! We are going to make a point to eat there 2 or 3 times on our December trip!!

You can order any kind of sandwich if they have the food item on the menu. The sandwich I order is not listed on the menu but they don't blink when I order one.

I absolutely love their sandwiches and tomato soup. Any Earl fans here?

Their turkey is so great and I also love the tomato soup!! Our whole family loves it and even if the line is long it never takes more than a few minutes to begin eating.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I'm not a fan at all. Actually just ate there a few hours ago. Maybe it's a geographic thing, I've never found too many great deli's in the south. But if you're from the North East where you have a great deli on every corner, this place is bound to disappoint. Quite frankly I don't even think it's on the Quizno's level, which is pretty sad. I guess the one thing it has going for it is price, $5.99 for ANYTHING at WDW is pretty cheap.

We love Earl of Sandwich. I wish I had known they were in San Antonio; we were there last month. Our favorite is the Italian.

I absolutely love Earl's. On my last trip, my family joked with me saying I was having a love affair with the sandwiches. I told my mom that as soon as we get to WDW, we are going to Earl's, I need my fix. LOL. My favorite is the Hawaiian BBQ without pineapple. 88 days till I can get another one. :worship:

We tried it for the first time on our last visit on the advice of friends. We had the Thanksgiving holiday sandwich, turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, etc. Absolutely delicious!!
