Any DL scrappers??

We are planning a trip to DL and have been to WDW several times. The scrapbook material at WDW is disappointing (few kits or special embellishments) . Is DL's any better? Where do you get your west coast supplies?

It is about the same at DL. They have kits in many of the shops along with punches, scissors, etc.

I'm not a "scrapper" but I do like to get cute things to place on boring frames. I was at Target the other day and I liked the Disney stuff they had at Target. I took a very plain white Easter or Spring frame and put the Cinderella castle sticker on it and it really looked cute. I also took the Tinkerbell sticker and put that on a green frame and it really looked nice.

Just for your information..Michaels craft stores have lots of Disney scrapbooking things. The most expensive is a Disney scrapbook kit for $69.99CDN (probably alot cheaper in the USA than in Canada). If you want the papers without paying for the scrapbook, they do have a nice set of scrapbooking pages and embelishments called Buay Scrappers Solution Disney Papers for around $25.00CDN. Once again this will be cheaper in the USA. I always watch for the 40% off coupon with Michaels as I find them to be rather expensive. I also find Disney scrapbook stickers, etc at my favourite local Dollar store. I'm too close to a Michaels store (less than a 5 min walk from here), so I tend to check them out fairly often. Comes in handy when I need some last min scrapbooking supplies. Good luck with your scrapbooking.

JoAnn fabrics as a lot of stuff too (very simular to the stuff at Michaels). There is an independent scrapping shop near me that carries lots of different Disney stuff, perhapes there is a small independent shop near you? Are you looking for anything in perticular? I could always go to the store and see whats there and report back. If my DH brings our camera home I could go take pictures of the items I have not seen anywhere else for you.

Thanks for the replies. Most of what I have for my last scrapbook came from Micheals, Joanne Fabric, Target and Walmart. I did pick up a paper kit while at WDW and my scrapbook plus the two paper kits from DCL. I was curious if DL kits were different from WDW. I used the ICON paper kits as the sort of title page for each park. I wondered if DL had something similar like the castle for Magic Kingdom, a Grizzley Peak icon page, the California Sign, etc... Is there any special store to find scrapbook material or is it the same stuff at resorts?

Last June I found packets of paper with stickers and paper frames at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney and also at Star Traders in Tomorrowland.

this website has a bunch of cute Disney Stuff...I just completed my Disney album from last year and I got alot of stuff from their website and from Michales {when they were having a sale on their stickers}...just keep an eye out in the MIchaels coupons for when they are having 30-40% off on their stickers and then go stock up...if you have a Joann's Superstore near you they also have a pretty good selection of Disney stuff {and I waited until it was on sale before I bought}...I started collecting my stuff about 6 months before we actually went to Disneyland so that I would have it ready to go when I got back...but it did take me about 5 motnhs to actual complete it!

The best store around here seems to be Ben Franklin. But Joanns and Michaels both have an OK selection too.

I did get a really neat Mickey Mouse head punch in Disneyland a couple of years ago.

Also I do not know if you know what a cricut is but it is a die cut machine and you can get a bunch of different disney stuff for it. You can check it out at www.cricut.com it is kinda spendy but lots of fun.

My Wal-Mart has a bunch of Disney stuff and it is a lot cheaper than Michaels, Joanns, etc...
