Any Disney Visa Cardholders at DLR after New Year?

I'm not sure if they scan it or not. They always take it from me (as opposed to just looking at it) but I'm usually too busy trying to keep my DS from running off so I never noticed if they actually scan it while they have it.

We did the DV meet and greet in September and it was great! I love that they give you a free picture and there were only 2 families in front of us. As far as the free stroller rental goes.....we are going March 21st and are REALLY hoping that this is still a perk :)

I just received my Disney Visa, and will be using it next week at DLR to get my free stroller rental, so I hope this perk still exists. It was one of the main reasons why I applied for it! I will post if I have any trouble getting my stroller.

I just went to DLR this week, and had no problems w/ getting my free strollers. It seems that they don't ring up your card, so if you have 2 Disney Visas, you could probably get 2 strollers. Just go and do two separate transactions.

Went on Friday, the 16th and 1 got one stroller and another family with us got 2. No problems. They do run your card though, to give you a receipt in case you need to replace the stroller.

Also the Meet 'n Greet was as usual. We actually did it with just DD9 alone with Pluto and then a little later we joined up with the other family and we all did it with Chip 'n Dale. FYI-the dad in the other family told the CM they had 2 DV cards. She asked if they were different accounts. He said yes and she told the PP photog to give him 2 coupons (she didn't check the cards)

That's great to know. I was really hoping the CM was wrong, but you never know. In this economy, they should want to keep the status quo. Free stroller rentals and M&Gs don't cost a whole lot, but mean that more card carriers will be visiting and spending!!:cheer2:

Just a note..although you can use the Rewards card, you cannot use a regular Disney gift card and get the discount. Our friends used their rewards card to make a payment on their hotel charge, so didn't have that at Steakhouse 55, and the server was clear that to get the discount they had to use their Disney Visa as payment.

I have used my Disney rewards card at the Emporium and still received the 10% discount. It says you have to "present" a card, it doesn't say you have to use the actual VISA card.
