Arabella is actually the name of one of the chars in OOTP. Well, alright she's mentioned throughout the entire HP series up till then, but it's only in OOTP that you find out her full name is Arabella Figg. :duck:

Oooohhh. I read it, but it was a while ago. And in a 3 day frenzy. I'm slow on abbreviations.. :)

When I was pregnant with #2 my DD INSISTED if it was a boy it would be named "Hercules".

EVERYONE had a freaking opinion

So, I would say, if you are thinking of picking a Disney name and really want to do that- go for it- it's your kid. But don't tell anyone you know!

Oh how true it is............................ :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

When we went to our ultrasound my mom came with us. As soon as they said its a girl my DH said welcome Hailey. My mom instantly said like Hailey Mills I love it! I honestly never thought of it being related to Disney until she said that.

My daughter is named Hayley, spelled that way because of Hayley Mills! :)

When we had our first DS our Landlady came over to see him and asked what we named him "Christopher Michael" she laughed and said you named him after the Winnie The Pooh character (his nursery was in the Pooh theme :confused3 but c'mon) I said no thats Christopher Robin

My new baby's middle name is Arielle. I took her name from the Little Mermaid but changed the spelling up a bit to keep the pronounciation Ari-elle instead of Ariel.

I wouldv'e loved to name her Bella (take off of Belle from Beauty and the Beast) but DH said nope.

Yes, I am a Disney freak. Can't wait till the little one is a bit older so I can take her to the themeparks.

I don't have any kids but how about Sydney. Its Disney with the letters mixed up but with a y instead of an i.

I have a Sydney! I must admit I never even realized that it's Disney jumbled up, but now I can claim that's why we named her that. Thanks, you made my day!

My niece is also named Ariel. I'm still not too sure if I would consider naming any of my kids after a Disney character. So far, everything she's gotten to wear or play with for birthdays and holidays is Little Mermaid. And she's never even seen the movie yet!!!

I think naming your child after a Disney character would be cute but only if its a pretty obscure name and not one of the usual, very obviously Disney kind of names.

Of course, that being said, I did manage to convince my husband to name our son Luke, but that had NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with Star Wars. ;)

Oh, did we have a hard time coming up with our last daughter's name! We settled on Julianna about 3 months into the pregnancy, but the middle name just wasn't there for us! We have a very Russian-sounding, long last name and nothing fit.
I come from a loooooong line of Southern Belle's and my grandmother's name was Mary Belle, so all of the girl cousin's in our family are nicknamed by their first name, and also added to that is "-Belle".
So while pregnant, DH began calling DD Julianna Belle. He wanted that to be her middle name. Well, we went round and round and even after she was born, I was polling all the nurses to see what they thought her middle name should be. I was sitting with the birth certificate documents in my hand, bags packed to leave the hospital and said to DH, "we cannot name this baby Julianna Belle. Think how it will sound as she is walking across the stage at her high school graduation and the laughter it will cause." We ended up naming her Julianna Grace.
Big Mistake. She is still known as Julianna Belle, and we usually just call her Belle. All of her teachers and close friends even call her Belle.
Funny thing is, I put in the Beauty and the Beast movie for her when she was two and we realized she looks JUST LIKE BELLE. And when we go to Disney world, she thinks she is the REAL Belle. She believes the Beast is "Her" Beast, and becomes highly offended if he does not acknowledge her, alone , in some way.
Anyway, long post, but Disney names are fun and the comments we get from strangers are fun, too.

My niece's middle name is Ella, because her older brother insisted that she be named Cinderella after his favorite princess. Ella as a middle name is a nice middle ground.

Our DD11's name is Alana, which is one of Ariel's sisters. Didn't name her after the sister though. Actually named her after a friend who's name is Alana that I worked with at Disneyland.

I like the name Lilly after Walt's wife Lillian. :)

DD's name is Isabelle Rose. We picked the names from Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Briar Rose.
