Any discounts on Bare Escentuals makeup?

I got an Ulta coupon in the mail today for 20% off. It did not list BE as an excluded item like their coupons normally do. I was out of Mineral Veil anyways, so I stopped by today and they allowed me to use the coupon on it. That is the first time I have gotten a discount there on BE.
I know some people buy it on ebay, but I have not tried doing that. I usually go to Ulta or the BE store. I have ordered online and they sometimes have online discounts that they email me, but their shipping takes forever because it comes from CA.

QVC sells Bare Minerals, and I think their prices are pretty good compared to the retail price, but I'm not really a makeup person myself.

Ulta has the best prices that I have found. If you sign up at their website, they will also send you coupons.

Try this:
http://bareescentuals.com/on/demand...ault/TryBareMinerals-Show?brandId=BM&site=253 I saw it on a late-night infomercial! It's a starter kit for $29.99. It comes with:

1 bareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation, size Medium
1 Mineral Veil Finishing Powder, size Small
1 Warmth All-Over Face Color, size Small
1 Flawless Application Face Brush
3 Bonus Gifts:
- 1 bareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara
- 1 Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush
- 1 How-to DVD to show you how to Swirl, Tap, Buff your way back to the skin you were born with
bareMinerals Club Membership
(looks like the Club Membership is one of those "30-day trial memberships" that they'll charge you for if you don't cancel in time?)

kits and today's special values on qvc are cheap. I also use coupons at Ulta.

Their outlets are amazing! I got one of the "larger" makeup kits (blush, 3 eye colors, 4 brushes, mineral veil, etc.) for $20, I usually pay about $50 for these. They had several options (maybe they were last season's makeup??), and I was quite impressed. They also had the 3-packs of eyeshadow (i.e. meet the browns, wine country eyes, etc.) for $9.50. I wasn't sure how the deals would be in there, and I was VERY happy :thumbsup2

That's a good deal if the membership can be canceled within 30 days. Now what if a buyer needs a different shade? For example, I need "Fairly Light" but all they offer is "light" which is too light, and "medium" which is too dark.

I saw these kits at Sephora for around $69.00.

Have you tried everyday minerals? I read about them here and ordered samples. They are just like Bare Minerals and much cheaper. Give them a try.

Was going to post the same thing. I never see it discounted....this was the first Ulta coupon that I have seen that it wasn't excluded. Too bad I am stocked up for at least 6 months or I would have put the coupon to good use!

Were do they have outlets at? I don't like the base, but the eye shadows and primer are nice.

I second the Everyday Minerals! I like it much better than the Bare Minerals and it is a lot cheaper.

I use Bare Escentuals and have found both Everyday Minerals and Kirkland Signature Borghese (Costco) foundation to be of similar quality and much less expensive -- you can get a Kirkland "Starter Kit" which consists of one foundation, one blush, three eye shadows and brushes for $24.99 at Costco and Everyday minerals offers generous foundation samples for prices as low as $5.00 for three color samples. Keep in mind that the Kirkland foundation runs a bit darker than BE and Everyday Minerals has over 20 different shades of foundation so finding the right shade for you may take some time and effort.

On the other hand, if you are buying this as a gift for someone who wants the BE brand (or you really want it) QVC and Ulta both have good prices.

Good luck :goodvibes

i used BE, as well as a few others. everyday minerals is much lighter, but is great for summer mixed with BE. i found costco's version too cakey and fake-looking for me.
btw, the absolute best mineral make-up i've found is halo by smashbox. it is a bit more expensive than BE, but worth every penny.: the most natural looking coverage i've found, yet it eliminates all imperfections :thumbsup2

i get mine at ulta, with the 20% coupons they send out during the year (fyi, the more you spend at ulta, the more often you get those "special" coupons; i get about 4 a year that are good on the high end/prestige cometics)

I use a line called Raw Minerals off ebay and it works pretty well. Also Sephora online in their clearance section sometimes has starter kits of the Bare Escentuals.

I get my foundation from the sign-up program mentioned earlier on auto-ship. I buy kits that I think I will get enough use on from QVC.

However, anything else that I might need as fill-in I just buy from eBay. It's a great way to get it quickly and usually cheaper. I also tend to sell my extra brushes from kits, etc there. Normally I don't get much for the brushes, etc that I sell, but it offsets the kit cost and keeps me at normal prices for the rest of the items. Just sold a few brushes and extra mineral veils in the last couple weeks. There is a ton of it on eBay.

The outlet I visited was at Prime Outlets in San Marcos, TX. Not sure where others might be, but I was very impressed.
