Any discounts avail to DVC memb for lodging if no pts left??

Forgive me if I am being stupid, (and we have only been DVC members x1 yr.), BUT, are there are LODGING discounts available if you are out of pts and NOT borrowing from the next use yr?? We are also Disney Club members and Annual pass holders so I do know there are discounts related to those already. Thanks!!!!

DVC members are surpose to get 25% any DVC villa - but this discount is very hard to get!

who do I call if planning to make a reserv and ASK for the 25% discount? And its jsut for the DVC resorts right? (studios or villas NOT regular roooms like Wild Lodge or BW inn hotel room right??) Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes this discout is only for the DVC resorts - I am not sure I would start with MS - but you might be better off renting points from a DVC member - look on the trade/rental board on this site. sometimes you can find a real bargin!

You can try and get the member discount, rent pts, try and get a Disney Club or AP discount or use one of the many codes that may be available during your stay. Check out mousesavers.com for info on the discounts.

You have a lot of options. There usually are some pretty good discounts to be had and you won't feel bad about not having any pts left this year.

Plus if you happen to get a discount and book a resort or a DVC resort on cash you'll get housekeeping for that stay.

I have also heard that MS sometimes matches code discounts at the DVC resorts.

Nothing like waiting till the last minute, but we are looking to book something Easter weekend. We do have the first part of our stay arranged. We are staying at WLV first night (used the remianing pts we had left in our acct) then I booked several nights more in the hotel part of WL, (hotel part), with the Disney Club discount. (it was about $20-$25 off per night with that discount) Looking to stay maybe at G.F the rest of the few nights and they said the Disney Club disc. rooms are sold out, and no annual pass rate was applicable on the dates we need.
