Any DIS Scrappers in NE MA or SNH?

I'm so glad you could join us! It was very fun. And it'd be great if you break the streak of us scaring DISers off and will join us again!

I am all over that NYC excursion. It doesn't matter to me whether it's Sat or Sun, but I work every other weekend so my September options would be the 5th, 6th, 19th or 20th. I seem to be the only one in the world that didn't go away this weekend, so it will be awhile before anyone else chimes in with their thoughts.

To fill in for those who weren't there - we talked about taking the bus from Boston to NYC for the day and hitting World of Disney, and all the other fun stops with PF as our expert tour guide.

oooh ... that sounds like fun! My DH was born and raised in the Bronx but never wants to do the touristy things with me in the City!

Says the other one who really didn't go away for the holiday because going to NY and back for family doesn't count as going away.

We go to NYC on a daytrip about once a month - so if we weren't able to come up with a September date convenient for everyone interested, we could perhaps catch others with an October one too...just a thought.

NEE, thanks for starting us off with some possible dates. For us, later in September is better - the beginning of the month is always nutty with the back-to-school crap/events/shopping, etc. I don't have any particularly strong preference for Saturday vs. Sunday, but parking in downtown Boston is free on Sundays (meters are not in effect) so those driving into town to catch the bus might find it easier/cheaper on a Sunday. With enough advance notice, I could also probably do a weekday (stores, restaurants, etc. are LOTS less crowded then) but many other might not be able to...

Love to hear everyone's thoughts -

You packed a bag and didn't sleep in your own bed. At least you went somewhere!

LOL - I would have gladly traded you ...

During the week won't work for me - that darn job! I unfortunately, can't plan that far out right now, but most likely would be up for any Saturday. I however would rather not do a Sunday as I would have to work on Monday am. :( I know I'm such a party pooper!

Saturdays are okay with me - I'm sure I can get my personal driver to give me a ride into the city (esp considering I got up at 4:30 on a holiday to give him a ride to work this morning!) so I don't have to pay to park.

Weekdays could work for me also, but we're in the minority there.

Hi guys, any details yet the "Disney Crop" at the Dream? Date and $? Trying to plan out our camping weekends...

I'm glad you all had fun at the friday crop - I will try hard to make the next one!!!

OOOOhhh NYC my home turf. I can be flexible, but prefer a Saturday.

I opened the 5th ave store you know!

Hey Ladies - the Disney crop is on for June 13th. I'm still trying to get more details from Laurie. I will give you a hint though that you should check out the website for exciting new things happening at the Dream! :D

Z2H and I are in - see everyone there! Sounds like a fun day!

Sigh.

We just booked a 2010 WDW trip (followed by a DCL cruise!!!) - so shouldn't go to the DVC shindig or we'd be MAJORLY tempted...:rolleyes1

No fair, no fair, no fair! (stomping my foot) I want to go to the DVC show but that's my weekend to work! I heard a description of someone who went to one of these in upstate NY and it sounded so neat. Does the email say what the hours are for it?

Of course, if I go to it, how would I be able to resist buying into it? Maybe it's a good thing I'm working.

Thanks for getting us the info on the crop, Ryan!

Morgansmom - we'll definitely have to plan something that would work for you after the summer is over.

Nah - no hours given. Just boxes to click on to "rsvp." We hadn't heard anything about the show until receiving the email. Do tell - what have you heard about the show?

Don't know if we'll go or not - knowing us, it would be hard to resist...!
