Any Dining CMs out there? Disney holding back ADRs?

I haven't read all the responses so please forgive me if this is a duplicate.

Last month when we reached our 180+10 mark myself, my SIL and friend all got up early and booked 10 days if reservations. We were disappointed by some if the availability but then at 7am when the CM phone reservations opened suddenly a lot more times were available online too.

For those getting up and booking at 6am, if you don't get what you want, try again at 7am and you may have more luck.

Hope this helps!

thanks. since I don't actually want to stay on property, this makes it easier for me if I can not get dining since then the point of FD is then pointless.

oh well. the fact that there is nothing for a party of 2 for dinner on Oct. 20 is mystifying.

the system is down right now

Disney has over 28,000 hotel rooms.
There are fewer than 80 table service restaurants on site.
With these numbers, someone is not going to get those popular places like BOGR, Chef Mickey and Ohana.

But there still seem to be restaurants available closer to travel: they just might not be what you want.

I'm only 59 days away from my trip, and I just made my last ADR yesterday. There was still quite a bit of availability. BOG, Ohana, and maybe 2 other things were unavailable, but everything else was open for dinner. I don't know if the times would have been ideal for every place, but I could have found something in any of the parks or resorts. Granted, I was only booking for 2 people, so YMMV if you have a large party.

The only thing we wanted and didn't get was BOG, but we were already within 180 days when we booked our vacation and I didn't want it so badly that I was willing to check every day for cancellations.

My 180+10 opened a couple days ago, just got around to making my ADR's.

Well I got everything I wanted at the times I wanted, except Chef Mickey's dinner, but that was only an hour later.

I got BOG on Halloween night, a 7pm Ohana, 8am CRT, 8am Crystal Palace. There are still tons left for Oct 23-nov 1

My 180 +10 also just opened on up on Monday. I was able to get everything I wanted really close to my preferred times, including: BOG (at +4), Chef Mickey's, CRT & Wishes Dessert Party.

I wonder what's wrong with the system that there seems to be such an extreme variance in the results for everyone.
