I wasn't there Friday but I can tell you a couple of changes from 2004 is the fireworks and the parade! They have been totally changed.
New song for the parade and they changed some of the floats. (I was bummed that they took the dalmation float and the Hades/villian float out). There is now a heavy focus on Goofy's Candy shop. And Jack Sparrow is in it now.
There's a whole new theme for the fireworks. New music and fireworks display. Tink flies now instead of the witch.
They also have a villian show in front of the castle.
Those are a couple of the differences between 2005 and 2004 and from what I've read the parade and fireworks are the same this year as they were last year.
Yes, but I was just hellping ColoradoDis out since she hadn't been since 2004.
From the reviews I've read last year and this year are exactly the same except that they added Jack Sparrow to the parade and that the park doesn't close for an hour anymore.
Hopefully someone will come alog and answer your question to your satisfaction.
They featured this last year too. Goofy Candy Co. is majorly featured at the end with a Goofy Candy bike driven by Goofy and another truck with Pluto on it. There are CMs handing out Goofy Candy Co. candy as well.
This is now what ends the parade. HEREs the link to the DIS's photos of the parade and the last 4 or 5 are of the Goofys Candy floats.
Do they hand out anything else besides candy during MNSSHP? I hate to think the kids all sugar buzzed out and up all night...I'd like to see some cheap souviner type stuff as well....
