Since I missed the 6pm.com sale on UGGs, I have not found good deals on the boots. I wanted to get DD a pair for her birthday or Christmas depending on when I can find a deal. I am not sure which stores are reliable and ebay has their share of fakes.

Please post UGG deals if you know any from authentic sites or if any websites have coupons that can be used with an UGG purchase. Thanks!!:cool1:

If FUGGs are acceptable for any of you, I bought my daughter some very nice Bearpaw Evas at Marshalls for $39. They're suede with sheepskin lining, and I saw them at several stores in my area in a few different colors in women's sizes. The ones we bought were 10" high and I think they had 12" as well.

If anyone is interested I have a pr. of brand new denim colored suede UGGS with beige fleece inside that you can cuff over. They are size 9's and are a style called Downtown. The color is called Indigo. They have a picture of them on Zappos and sold for $144 but they are not in stock. I'd be willing to sell for $90 plus shipping. I bought two pairs but only need one so....I'd love to not have to list them on craigslist or ebay so if someone here wants them GREAT!

Call me an UGGs newbie.

My 9 year old daughter would LOVE a pair for Christmas. To be honest, I don't see the appeal, but that doesn't matter.

Someone tell me: what's a typical price? What styles/ features should I be looking for, since the looks don't appeal to me at all?

I bought my dd bearpaws last year and they ripped right where the suede upper meets the sole. They didn't even last the whole season. I'mnot sure if Marshalls sells *seconds* or not but just make sure you check the boots before you buy them :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

If you google Ugg boot sale you can find some styles in certain colors on sale. Nothing like the 6pm sale that I missed though :sad1:

For girls, Justice has some boots that look similar to Uggs for only about $39 (and, of course, you can use the 40% off coupon they send out). They come in colors, too. They some in some women's sizes but the sizes run small. My daughter is in a women's size 9 and they had a pair, but her toe was practically pusing through the front. Unfortunately, 9 was the largest size they come in. :(

I want to get a pair of Ugg Cardy boots for my daughter who is a freshman in college. They seem to retail for around $140.00. If I do a search for a sale on Ugg Cardy boots, I come up with a lot of sites that offer this style for $90-$99. One of the sites is ugg2you.com. I'm not sure if these are legitimate sites and am hesitant to enter credit card info. Anyone have experience with any of these sites or know of a retail store that has this style Uggs for under $100? My daughter is only interested in real Uggs. Thanks.

I like the UGG cardy boots too :goodvibes. I bought the Downtown ones because they go great with jeans.

Thanks for all the tips. I would like to buy the real UGGs. I have tried the other ones, and they do not hold up as well. When DDs feet were growing, I didn't mind, but now she is slowing down and she can get a few years out of them.

I bought my DD the shorter Bearpaws last year. She wore them every single day for about 6 months and by month 3 or 4 they were trashed. Since she LOVES her UGG-type boots I am buying her the real thing this year. Of course, two pairs of Bear Paws would be cheaper :rolleyes1.

According to the UGGS official website, they probably are counterfeit:

Mine won't be wearing them every day. Not even close. And, since she's gone from a size 4 to a size 7 in two and a half months, there's no way I'm shelling out $180 for her to be able to wear the real deal for the hour or two they will fit. ;)

I got her a (much smaller) pair of Bearpaws last year and they lasted through the winter just fine.

I hear ya :). The Bearpaws will be perfectly fine for casual use. Luckily, my DD is now a size 4 (Women's 6) and can still fit in UGG's youth sizing so I'm "only" looking at $120 - $140 for the Classic Talls. *sigh*
