I just saw some Lego gift cards on plasticjungle for a 12% discount so you could get add'l savings if you bought one and used for that.

I'm not sure if this will work for you, but its definitely worth a try, but its a big YMMV.
I just read on slickdeals that a poster was able to call their local store and order Mindstorm using a 40% off coupon good for educational toys, in store only. They got it for something like $168. Do not call bn.com to order, you have to go through your local store in order to be able to use the discount.
You could try to use it in store if your store has it in stock, it expires 11/24, so you'd have to do it today.

ETA If your store doesn't have it in stock, they can order it there and have it shipped to your home. They will print out the order and you take it to the register, and then hand them the 40% off coupon and it should scan without any issue.
