We have used stroller as a wheelchair tag for many years now. Each year, we go and stand in Guest Services line as we were originally told to do for each new trip , let the CM know we need a tag, they cut off the old one and replace it with an identical one, There is a place for them to write the dates on, but that has only happened once in 7 years. I am a bit tired of standing in line to get something I already have attached to the stroller. If the tag is still the same as last year, can I just skip the trip to Guest services and continue to use the old/identical one on the stroller?

The tag is still the same. It's similar to the adhesive airline baggage tags, but red with a picture of a stroller and indicating it is a stroller as wheelchair.
I have never seen one that did not have the date written on it, so I'm surprised that your experience has not included them writing in the date. I don't remember seeing a labeled space for the date to be written in, which could be why it gets missed.

Our tag has always had the dates written on it as well. I never leave it on the stroller after we come home, but maybe you go more frequently. If the line at Guest Relations is long, maybe you can start your day doing things that may not require the stroller in line, if that's possible. Then stop by Guest Relations a bit later.

Enjoy your vacation!

Ours from a couple weeks ago was red and folded, as an earlier poster said, like airline luggage tags. Our cast member wrote dates on there, but they are not real visible, and I don't recall anyone really looking at the dates. We only used it a couple times but were waved on through with no real attention paid.

I cant do stairs.. so when we go to Disneyland and have to go to GR, I always use the wheelchair ramp. this is most often a shorter line..I don't know what its like at WDW, but if that's possible?
