Any crafty people or sewers here? Any craft store employees? I'm desperate...

If anyone can help me find something I would be eternally thankful. My Mom and I make Santa Faces with yarn and felt...I will post pics later...


Well, we CAN'T find any Flesh coloured felt.(Beige-pink kinda colour) We usually just went to Michaels or the Dollar store (Dollarama or Great Canadian) and bought the rectangles of felt that you could get for 25 cents each and it would help to make 2 santa faces but we can't find any...The closest we have come across was Ivory (too light) and Camel (way too dark)

I would even buy it by the yard but can't find any either...If anyone knows of a place that sells some and has a paypal account, I would send you $$$ and handling fee for your time...

If anyone can help...Please let me know.

We have a store here called Lens mills that usually has everything - would be happy to check for you!

We only have Walmart and Fabricville here and neither have it.

Could you dye some white felt to get the colour you need?

RIT dye #18 (ecru) looks close. Or there is custom colour mixing chart on the RIT website.

I looked at Michael's yesterday for you and I couldn't find anything. I just called Fabricland and they have cream coloured felt. If you think that would be ok, I'd be glad to send it to you! I went to school with your husband (in the picture in your signature)! It probably wouldn't go out until Monday's mail.

Have you tried soaking some white felt in tea? Different teas have different tones to them. You might be able to come up with something that would work.

I think your best bet would be buying white felt and dying it. Maybe try experimenting with an orange-coloured herbal tea? orange or tangerine?
