Hi,
Going to CSR 4-17 for 3 nights before OKW.....

Anyone know if there are any conferences going on.....
Particularly loud teens?
Thanks
Kerri

If you do a search of the threads, there is one that lists all the conventions that have been posted thus far for 2008. We have stayed at the CSR numerous times when there was a convention and have never had a problem with noise.

dont let a conference scare you off- empty busses and a lovely pool!

thanks everyone....buzz nice list:thumbsup2

I just didn't want a "pop warner" type of event....
can't wait to try CSR:goodvibes

Wow Buzz....thanks so much....

Your site is awesome....CSR looks soooo beautiful....

one question....are the a/c units the "smart" thermo...

do they turn off when not in the room....can you keep the room
cool.
Also I noticed room rehabs in 08....do you think this will take away the
beauty....or will they take a whole building out of service.
thanks

Yes, they do turn off but just follow these instructions to override.

On the thermostat, push the power button and the down arrow (button that adjusts the temp) at the exact same time. If you do this correctly, you will see the letters "bp" where the temp normally shows. You are now bypassing the sensors in the room. You can then set the temp to whatever you want and it keeps the room that cold whether you are in it or not. The maintenance man said that you might have to do this once a day as the thermostat tends to go back to sensor mode after 24 hours. We found that it stayed on bypass for a couple of days at a time. It was great to come back to a cold room or not wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat again. The CM that did this for us said it was not a problem doing this as they do it for people all the time.

I was there during the last rehab and they didn't bother us because we were up to go to the parks and by the time we returned, they were done for the day. I guess it depends if you are a late sleeper or not and if they are working on your building during your stay.

Buzz,
I didn't see the CSR rehab on the dis or mouseplanet rehab schedule....

Is this your inside knowledge....

I try VERY hard to not go to resorts during a rehab.

I know I will try them all.....just want to go when it is at best:goodvibes
Thanks
Kerri

Info came from another DIS'er who has a friend that is a manager at CSR. It is not confirmed.
