I have been looking, but haven't really seen anyone comment on the new EMH in the evenings. Anyone have comments, details? Has it worked out all right? Thanks for your thoughts!

On OUr trip 1/12-1/17, we did the EMH at Epcot and at AK. The one at Epcot was from 9-midnight. The crowds emptied out very quickly. We did HISTA and the theater was only about 1/2 full. We tried to do Energy Adventure, but it was broken. We repeatedly rode Test Track. The last hour, we didn't even have to get off--just unbuckled and rebuckle the seats. I thought it was great.

We also did AK for part of one evening--open til 8 on Sunday night, which is not its ususal day. The crowds were great. On primevil whirl, they only had one side open. It was a longer wait earlier in the evening. Dinosaur was basically a walk-through. I was surprised by how light the crowds were as we left MK to go to AK because MK was a mess of people.

Unfortunately, because of timing, I wasn't able to hit the MGM or MK EMH, but I liked what I experienced.

We utilized the extra hours this past week for every park. It worked out great, and we were able to squeeze in those last couple of rides we didn't hit during regular hours (we were late starters). Our only problem was at MK, when we didn't focus on hitting the attractions that were only open during regular hours, because we were just traveling land to land. So when we finally got to Tomorrowland, we weren't able to see COP, which bummed us out. But we did go on Space Mountain twice, so that was great.

The bracelets were easy enough to get, and the parks weren't overly crowded during those days (although the middle of the week in January is never too crowded, I think.).

Thanks for the replies! We are late starters as well, so that's why this topic interests me. Of course, we will be going in beginning of June, so I suppose the EMH-late crowds will be a bit heavier.

Anyone else have any thoughts on EMH-late?

Sorry, no advice from me. I've got a question.

Do you need to get the wristband 2 hours before park closing? Do you need to be inside the park to get the wristband? Or can you walk up to the turnstyles with your resort key and admission media and get a wristband there while the evening hours are already in effect?

We have a PS for dinner at Cape May Cafe and want to head over to Epcot afterward. Will they still be giving out bracelets around 7:30 pm? Or should we head over to Epcot before dinner to get our wristbands then? We'll be spending the day at Disney-MGM Studios and didn't plan on going to Epcot until after dinner -- but we'll do it if we have to!

H! We are here right now and did EMH at AK Tuesday night and EMH at Mk last night. They were great! We only did the rides at AK for about 45 minutes, since they don't have that much stuff open there, but we took the rest of the time to walk around the empty park, taking pictures. There are so many little paths we did not know about. My son got to meet Stitch and it felt empty. The only time we saw people was when went to Dinoland. As far as MK goes, we walked onto Splash Mountain 3 times and a row! Then waited about 5 minutes for Thunder Mountain. We rode Buzz 6 times and Stitch (which my son loved by the way!) twice . We did TTA twice as well. Everything had little to no wait. I think Space Mountain was about 10 minutes as was HM. Wishes was wonderful and it was so nice to walk around without crowds!!

As far as the wristband thing goes, you can either get one before park closing or right after you enter the park after closing. They will ask to see your key when you enter and then as you soon as you go through there will be wristband places. Very easy.

We will be doing Epcot tonight. Need to ride MS a few more times!!
