Hi Everyone

Was wondering if anyone has had experience with these cabins? We wanted Cat 6 but all the connecting cabins were filled so we had to go up to the Cat 5.

Is the location OK with it being right around the corner from the elevators?? Will there be alot of talking traffic being that we are right as you turn the corner??

Also does anyone know what we will see on this side of the ship when we dock for the Eastern cruise??

And one final question I've been wondering about for a while---Can anyone tell me which night you can have your pic taken with Mickey and Minnie in their formal gown and tux?? I thought I read somewhere here that it was on formal night but then maybe it was on semi-formal night since on one of those you get your pic taken with the captain??? Thanks for your help everyone!!:sunny:

I don't know anything about the cabins. But go to the bottom of the forum and type in the cabin number in the search box. It should come up with some threads that may list cabins in and around yours. That's what I did to check out our rooms.

I think the pics with Mickey and Minnie are on formal night. But I may be wrong. You could do a search for this too if you wanted too.

We were in 7538, which is on the opposite side of the ship, right next to your location. It's a great location. Frankly, I LOVE deck 7. It's an easy walk up to the pool deck, an easy walk down to the kids programs, staterooms above for quiet, etc.

The room is about 6 sets of rooms back from the mid-ship elevators. I never heard them at all. It is a pretty busy hallway, so you might hear people walking outside, but you'll probably heard that anywhere except extreme aft and forward, and those don't have verandahs.

Don't know about the view on the Eastern, but on CC, we were on the island side in 7538, which would mean you were on the ocean side. But they enter CC both ways (forward and back) so there's no definite assurance that either side will put you on the island side there.

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, we were extreme aft (7638/deck 7) and had a very large verandah.

We had 7040 and 7042 this past Feb and loved the location. We were upgraded to these rooms and thought we might be disappointed because we had chosen other cabins on deck 7. We loved this location just as much!

It is easy to get to anywhere on the ship and didn't notice any noise in the hallway. We like deck 7 as we usually spend most of our time at the pools and its a quick jump up the 2 flights of stairs. It's also easy to go down to the rest. etc. when you need too.

As far as the view, well, its not bad. In St. Maarten you look at another ship or Great Bay and in St. Thomas you overlook Havensight Mall(if you dock). I wouldn't worry about the view although it was fun standing on the veranda as we backed out of St. Maarten.

Enjoy the cabins and the location, we did and will do it again sometime!

I am so glad to hear about these two rooms as we will be in 7040 and our good friends will be in 7042 on the April 23, 2005 Western! I, too, was worried and wondering about the noise level but it sounds like you had no problems! Thanks

Thanks to all for your replies!!!;)

I posted here because I had already done a search and it did'nt come up with much---so Thanks for your help!

Would still like to know about the pics with Minnie and Mickey and which night that would be---Sunday or Thursday???

Thanks again!!:sunny:
