Any Comic Book readers out here?

Just curious if any of the Disers read comics.

I am a 25 year old woman and Love..I mean love comics. Now I never read them as a kid probably just started in the last 2-3 years.

I read more Marvel than DC..actually I don't think I read any DC.

I read all the X books or darn near (there are so many how do you really know?)

The there are all the Fantastic Four (My favs!)

Then I read Runaways, Wildersiderz (A new one I picked up by the Danger girl guy)

I think we get JLA and Avengers too..I like Avengers.

So anyone else read Comic Books?

Not so much the comics, but I'll pick up an occasional "graphic novel", or a series. Frank Miller's stuff is great, I just read Batman: the Dark Night Strikes Again; it's an interesting perspective on the "aging" superheros.

Yes, I am a definite comic book collector. The ones I collect are the Archie series titles. I started collecting them and reading them when I was about 7-8 years old, and I'm still collecting them!!! They are very enjoyable comics to read, since they portray people as they are in society and follow the fads of the day. I really like them!!!!

I like Marvel although I also like some DC. I read Ultimate Spiderman, Ultimate FF, Astonishing X Men and Marvel Knights Spiderman among others. Thanks for the thread! Great idea!

I used to be an avid collector, mainly Marvel stuff. I still try to keep track of whats happening via the internet though. Every once in awhile I'll buy a comic or two and I recently bought the Astonishing X-men Vol. 1 trade (love Whedon) and the Runaways digest volume 1 (awesome series, I want to try to find the other digests)

I have always read Archie comic books, and still do (at the age of 35), my sisters started reading them 40 years ago, so I have a lot of old and new ones. Now I am sharing them with my DD.
