Any codes for right now? May have to evacuate Southern California

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any codes or good rates for right now. We would leave tomorrow. We may have to evacuate the fires here in San Diego. Even if we don't get a manditory evacuation, we are thinking we might leave for a few days to get out of all the smoke and raining ash! I have airline vouchers and WDW tickets, so hotel and food would be all we needed. If I can find a good code out there for hotel (I know it is so last minute that I am probably crazy) WDW would be the best place to escape all this. I don't know if it is even possible, but thought I'd try. I called to see if they had any rates and the CM was very unhelpful. Said there was nothing. I even asked if there were any rates for people like me who needed to get out and he said no. Since everyone here is way more knowledgeable than most CM's I thought I'd give it a try here. Thanks for your help!

First, I am so sorry for what you all have been going through ... I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers ...

As far as any available codes and good rates go, unfortunately, I don't know of any, however, did you try the WDW Swan and Dolphin or any of the Official Walt Disney World Hotels in Downtown Disney? ... they are as follows:

Best Western Lake Buena Vista
Holiday Inn
DoubleTree Guest Suites
Regal Sun Resort (former Grosvenor) Hilton Resort
Hotel Royal Plaza
Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa

Maybe one of them could offer you a good deal ... I know they all offer bus transportation to the parks ... I've stayed at one or two of them in the past and they were just fine ...

The AAA room only rates might help some. They aren't available everywhere right now, but it might well be worth a try. Disney can give you a quote.

I'd also check the preferred hotels at mousesavers.

I would suggest too calling Disney Res back and if nothing is available on property seeing what Good Neighbor Hotels are available (and DTD hotels as suggested).
Last minute is tough, as the norm lately has been BOOKED.

Good luck to you. We wish you well with all you are going through in your area. Floridians can somewhat comprehend what you are going through since we were hit so bad with hurricanes a few years ago, and not knowing whether to stay or leave and what would be left standing.

Thanks for all your kind words and wishses! I will try your suggestions. We are right by the Rice fire and suggested evacuation about 1/2 mile away. We will have to see what happens overnight. The Witch fire is just south and a few Camp Pendleton fires have just broken out to the north so we are literally surrounded. Luv2Roam, you are right about not knowing if we should stay or go. If there is a manditory evacuation and the fires get closer I may wish I stayed a little longer to get all valuables out of the house. We may just see if we can get out to Palm Springs or somewhere close in case we need to get back in a hurry. Thanks for all your help everyone
