Any chance of waitlisting at Grand Californian for the next few months out?

our home resorts are all in WDW, but we frequent DL as well since we live in AZ and do the run disney races. normally we stay at the DL hotel, but we want to do just a weekend trip and stay at the grand californian sometime. i looked online and they all seemed booked for the rest of the year! we just want a studio for a thurs-sunday, 3 night stay. is it worth trying to waitlist it at all, or just look elsewhere?We are pretty much free to go anytime, wanted to go from july-oct sometime if possible since we go to wdw in june and nov this year.

I'd set up a couple of waitlists but you may have good luck just stalking the availability. You might catch a cancellation.

I think it's always worth a shot. We recently had to reduce our nights there from four to two so I'm sure we made someone's wait list dreams come true!
