Any chance of riding the frozen ride without a huge standby wait?

We'll be 3 adults. Current plan is to RD test track, do mission space, living with the land, and fp soaring. How can I incorporate frozen, second week in July, without a horrible wait? I doubt I could even get a fp 30 days out. Soaring, I think I could.

WE too have been hoping that we can either get a fastpass that day in July we are in EPCOT for Frozen, because we already chose our other 3 rides.... hoping hoping !!

As of right now I was able to get a fastpass for Frozen on our last day, but we haven't decided what park we are going to that day so I may not keep them ... I just wanted to check to see if they were available, and most times the whole day they were ... middle of July.

I think unless you RD it there will be a long line for it as it is new or maybe very late in the day if you do not want to see illumination

We obviously don't know how things will be in reality but if it is a priority I would FP FAE and ride Soarin' standby ... with the third theater it should reduce the waits (but we shall see) - or you could RD Soarin' and do Test Track single rider if you are up for that

You could try to get a pre-park opening ADR for Akurshus to get to FEA right away

Or during Illuminations the line is likely to be down a bit, but who knows how much

Going to be interesting to see the FP vs. Standby wait times when this opens. Wondering if it will be like when A&E meet and greet started with waits of 200 minutes...

Will it even be open at rope drop. I thought it was in Norway and wouldn't open until 11?

That's 60 days out. I'm stuck with 30.

Considering disney in the release of when it was opening told everyone where else to find A&E they are expecting a SWARM of people at this ride... I think it's going to make TSMM look like a walk on.. :)

I'm thinking the Frozen standby is going to be the worst! Our plan is RD Soarin, Living With the Land, single rider for Test Track, FP Frozen. (Mission Space isn't on our list!)
This sounds like a plausible plan. I'm with PP in that with the new Soarin theater, wait times will hopefully be shortened. I would RD A&E M&G, high tail it over to TT, then head to Soarin, etc... and FP FEA. That is our plan next month. If I recall, the line for Maelstrom was slow, so I am going to assume without a FP for FEA, the wait will be LONG.

FPs are gone for FEA the only day we have to go (unless it opens early!). What do you think the best way will be to get to FEA from the IG? or should we find a way to the front?

We RD TT back in December. Entered through IG. They opened the gates a little before 9. We were able to walk over to TT. They had it roped off until they received official "opening" signal. Then we walked over and got in line.

That's the challenge we have is doing both the ride and the M&G

Our plan/hope is that we have an 8:15 ADR at Akershus (park opens at 9) so try to get right online for the M&G after breakfast and then have a FP for FAE for ~10:30 but we shall see (we are staying off site so only have the 30 day window)

Even rope drop requires a lot of wait and stress (on the bus by 7:30, waiting to get in, waiting at the rope, stressing about whether rude people will push past you). I suggest getting in line at 8:58pm. In no time at all, the FP traffic will be gone. They are not allowed in after 9, and most people w FP return window of 8-9 will go earlier to see Illuminations. Then instead of 75% of the seats going to FP, 100% will go to standby folks. That line will start to really move without the mental frustration of watching the FP line for hours. Plus, Disney will greatly inflate the wait time just before closing. To me, this is WAY better than the rope drop stampede.

Thanks. I wonder if they will let us walk towards FEA though. If we can even get as far as the fountain entrance or even walk through World Showcase. Since FEA looks to be opening at 9 but the rest of World Showcase won't be I'm confused on what will happen. Unfortunately we only have the day it opens to find out.

I suspect there will be incredible lines unless you rope drop or FP Frozen.

My suggestion for getting all 3 in:
Suggestion 1:
Rope drop Test Track. FP Frozen. For Soarin, try to get a 3rd fastpass or do it late at night. I suspect the 3rd theater will significantly reduce wait times at Soarin and add a lot more 4th fastpass availability.

Suggestion 2:
Frozen at RD. Then, still before 10 am, hit Test Track in single rider line. It's much faster than the regular standby line, especially early. Then FP Soarin.

Between ropedrop, a fastpass, and the Test Track single rider line, you should be able to make out ok.
