Just wondering if any TDS ever has any pins left after NOON on Saturday??? I am not looking to get all of the 100 yrs Celebr. pins...just a few of the ones my DD and I like. We have 5 stores within a 25 minute drive, the closest is 10 minutes away. I work retail (was a CM for a few years too) and work alot of Saturdays, and when I am not working I still have a busy schedule. I have been to TDS numerous times to try and get at least a couple of the ones my DD and I like. I have not been able to get any.......NOT A ONE! Even if I try to make it by 10am......still nothing.
And now......we would really like to get the patriotic pins. When we were in WDW they were sold out til after we were going home. But they should be available at TDS.........YEA RIGHT!!!!
I cannot afford to spend my time on the phone every 2 hours calling to see if they got them in. It is NUTS.
So what is up with their "guest service"!! Why is it these pins were not considered "collectibles" that is in "retail" terms, therefore not limitedin quanity to purchase. But unless you are there Sat morning....forget it!
I know.........I am in retail.......you don't need to explain the whole supply and demand etc.....
I think I just needed to vent.
TDS has finally got something in the store that people actually want to purchase....and they just don't have enough to last more that 1 and 1/2 hours!
And what is up with their ornaments this year?? NOTHING worth buying IMHO??!!!
Although the Mickey Snowman stuff is cute.....but I ordered that out of the catalog.....they had it first.
