Any chance of Getting a Riveria discount?

Hi all,

We are canceling our late August trip (first summer we won’t be going to Disney in a decade... sigh). My Bounceback is not transferable for next summer so I’m losing the great deal I had. I usually get a Disney deal by booking a Bounceback or in late March through Disney when their summer deals start coming out. We will be going - hopefully- in August 2021. (We are not DVC members and prefer to stay in a 1 bedroom villa.)

I’m just curious, my husband would love to stay at the Riveria. Since it’s new, I’m assuming it’s impossible to get a deal on. I’m just curious if they have any deals. (For example I’ve never seen a Disney summer deal that includes Villas Grand Floridian), so I’m curious if Riveria will be excluded from most Disney deals.

Your chances of getting a Riviera deal are greater now than they will be once the resort sells out to DVC members. Right now, only a very small percentage of the rooms are owned by members. The rest are owned by the developer. The developer turns those villas over to CRO for cash reservations. IF Disney offers any room discounts in the future, Riviera will probably be one of the “Deluxe Villas” included in the discount.
