Any chance of Disney direct allowing a new member 100pts @ BLT?

I know that they will allow me 100pts at AKL but I would love 100 points at BLT or 50 at each?

Do you think there is any chance they would allow it for a new member purchase?

I have emailed my guide to ask as well so will update thread when he replies.

I can't see why they would waive the minimum purchase requirements for new members - especially since BLT points are selling so quickly.

Well they will let me buy in at AKL for 100 points, no harm in asking I suppose.

Alternatively I could buy 2x50pt contracts at AKL, then buy a 25 or 50 pt contract as add on and sell a 50pt AKL contract if I needed to.

Don't know if they are still doing this.....But, I bought in with Disney in August and I was able to buy a 100pt contract at AKV as a new member. I paid a bit more per pt. than the incentive at the time (still got it for $99 a pt though

I can't see Disney selling anything to a new member less than current listed minimum. If they did it for one person, they would have to do it for the next that asked. Defeats the purpose of a minimum buy in. You could always try the resale market to get what you want.

Thanks I am currently chasing a 25 pt resale listing that will mean I can they buy small contracts direct from disney. I am in the UK so would prefer to pay by credit card rather than wire.

Agreed, I am international also, so we did the Credit card transaction also. That is why I bought a small contract too(100pt)
Then I plan to do add ons .
